I finally had some time off to relax after last month's hectic contracts. I did some short speed paintings just to wind down. Its funny how when you're just playing around, you really get unique ideas.

Anyway, here is one of those short speed paintings, The Worrier... a furry beast who seems to be a little anxious and worried about the future. I totally can relate.

My portrait of the fearsome Kong. "King of Skull Island" took about 3-4 hrs from start to end. Only Photoshop was used for this one. I did this completely from memory, so I apologize if I missed any special details. Mostly, this is Kong as I saw him when I was a child... meaning he was alot bigger and more scary to me at the time. I tried to capture his more powerful side and give the audience a sense of awe. Any C&C is always welcome! Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy!
